“There is no trade-off. You don’t sacrifice one for the other.”
That’s what Tom Ridge, former Secretary of Homeland Security, told attendees of CFP2014 in his opening remarks on June 8.
In part 1 (below, 5 mins.), Ridge affirms his commitment to privacy, telling Americans who say they don’t care if the government listens to their conversations, “You’d better care.”
